[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chef knife is so light but so sharp. I was able to slice onions so thin they were practically transparent. I may just give away all my other knives. This is all I need. I am really looking forward to using the others two knives in the 3 pc collectors set.

This is a great starter set of knives. Classic is well, Classic with a 3 rivoted handle, half bolster and made from German steel. Christopher Kimball wanted a set that reflected what he felt were the best and most used knives in the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These are great knives for the price. They are the right profile for most uses and the handle is very comfortable. Having a high quality forged set at this price is unbelievable!
