I love it that Staub Cocotte makes my stew even tastier. Besides, the basil color adds more fun to the kitchen. Cleaning isn't troublesome compared with regular casting iron cookware. It's a worthy purchase and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is still a new purchase for me, I already love my brand new cocotte. The white truffle color is beautiful, and the Staub design looks amazing on display in my kitchen. I was very torn between going with a Staub or a Le Creuset and I'm definitely happy with my decision. Not only was it a better price, but the self-basting lid is a super nice feature and the overall construction feels super solid. My cocotte will get a lot of love and use over the next several decades!

The Staub 7 quart cocotte is perfect for anyone looking to feed a large family. Beautiful burnt orange color, looks great in the kitchen, as well as in the dining room. The cast iron enamel is chip resistant, and requires no seasoning. Ready to go straight from the box, this pan works just as well on top of the stove as it does inside the oven. This pan will be enjoyed for many years. My daughters are already fighting over who will get it when I'm gone!

The new Truffle color is stunning, and looks beautiful in the kitchen as well as on the table. Love having a pan that can be used in the oven as well as on any cooktop. Easy clean up, thanks to the dark black interior which will not stain, and resists sticking.
I use this pan for everything. Love making stews, soups, braises and sauces as well as deep frying and bread baking. Where else would I get the versatility I get with this pan. Well worth the price for all the functions it allows. The most used piece in my kitchen.
