Rustic white or truffle is so gorgeous color in every way. and what a wonderful cast iron pot. Such color will blends in for every kitchen either stainless steel or modern designed. Staub cast iron pots saves you another dish, you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table. I also bought a staub trivet to protect my table from direct heat, it add another beautiful thing at your dinner table. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
I love my 5.5 qt round! I've had it for at least five years and it still looks new. It is my go-to pot for soups, stews and bread. It browns beautifully, nothing ever sticks, and cooks evenly. When I make a roast, it comes out incredibly moist because of the "dimples" on the lid. All the trapped moisture creates a little rain forrest. I love taking food directly from the stove to the table. I highly recommend the magnetic trivet.
This is perfect family size pot. You can get a whole chicken it it for roasting or make a batch of soup with left overs. I fry burgers and steaks in the pot all the time - because of the high walls there is not splattering of grease. The interior black matte finish produces a perfect sear on meats.

It does make a difference in food taste wise, efficiency-saves gas and you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table without the need to use another dish. I love this size for feeding my two person household as it yields the perfect amount for dinner plus leftovers. The classic grenadine color makes for a nice year-round and seasonal color to cook with. The self-basting lid produces the most flavorful results while the nonstick enamel cast iron coating perfectly seasons food and is ideal for browning and searing. Easy clean up too!
