I love the size on this dutch oven, for my needs 4 qt is too small and the 7 is for bigger events. this has become a good size for weekly meals with some leftovers for lunches. It has a good height, deep enough that the lid doesn't touch the food so you get good use of those basting spikes.
Bought this for the new Basil color, but like all the features it has. One pot even cooking, self basting lid and oven safe. Another great Staub Cocotte made in France.
This white truffle 5.5qt round cocotte is the perfect size. In my household of two, this 5.5qt is ideal for us for generous portions at dinner with plenty leftovers. The self-basting lid and nonstick enameled interior make food incredibly flavorful and textured every time. I love cooking with this Staub cocotte, I use it several times a week!
I have always admired the marin blue at Sur la table, I think this is pretty close. The 5.5 bzise is perfect foe my needs. I can fid a good sized roast or make stew for a small crowd. i have a 4 qt and I cant decide if my nesxt one should be a 7 or a 9.
Staub cast iron colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table, this teal is my favorite. There's variety of colors to choose from, and caters individual color taste. Staub cast iron pots saves you another dish, you can serve your delicious food straight to your table. I also bought a staub magnetic trivet to protect my table from direct heat, it add another beautiful thing at the dinner parties. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results. Its durability is perfect for day-to-day use.
Another beautiful color from Staub!! The size and shape of this cocotte is perfect for larger stews and soups. this is my pot for making delicious bone broth. I can really sear the bones well and with the tight fitting lid, I don't have to worry about liquid spilling over!! I also like to rest my tools on top of the lid!!
In addition to the beautiful tones of Staub enameled cast iron cookware, I find them to be very functional. The inside surface provides perfect searing, browning, and braising. Combine this with the self-basting capabilities of the lids, meats are more tender and moist and recipes more flavorful.
