Beautiful Knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased today, but have had our other Henckles set for 27 years without any issues, so I expect these to be even better. I love the ergonomic handles- balanced well, has some heft to them. The color is beautiful. I also love the micro serration of the blades. Seems silly to get excited about new kitchen knives, but here I am.
The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is because I haven’t actually used the knives in this set yet.

Great knife set

Cons: bulky, rust in the dishwasher
I like this set. The knives are great. I wish the block was more upright so it didn’t take up as much counter space.

We went to several stores tested a few and then found this set. We loved it so much we went on line recently to add more steak knives. The blades stay sharp and are ergonomically correct for holding and cutting. I like the added benefit of the block with assorted other knives. We were in need of a nice reliable good quality set. Buy this set. You won't regret it!

Heavy duty and high quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a bit of a kitchen knife snob. I made my last set run for more than a decade. So I knew when I replaced them, I was looking for something that would last a very long time. After looking over a lot of competitor options, I settled on these Silver Caps from Henckles. I could not be happier with my decision. These knives are solid and have a nice heavy duty feel to them. My only drawback on this set is that it didn't come with a sharpener, so I have to keep one in a separate drawer. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have. A small trade off for having better quality knives really. Seriously good bang for you buck!
