Since I haven’t been able to find a cassoulet in any local restaurants, I decided to buy this Dutch oven and make my own. The fact it is made in France only added to its appeal. But before I tackle that dish, I decided to make a pot roast as a warm up. It turned out great! I used a Martha Stewart recipe I found on line and was very happy with how easy and delicious it was. By the way, I am 78 years old and have very little cooking experience. Glad I bought this Staub product!

I use this dutch oven for nearly everything. The size is perfect, not heavy, easy to clean and is highly versatile. I look forward to having it for a very long time.
