This set has the right combination of knives. A lot of the sets i was looking at don't have a santoku. I like preparing Asian cuisine and why not have the right tools for the job. Very comfortable handles. I like that it is forged German steel....it gives me confidence in the quality. Also 6 steak knives are perfect for my large family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice solid set of knives. I really like the variety available with this set. Wish the block was a bit wider rather than as narrow as it is, but it is a solid well built holder that should last. Well worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives look great. They have good weight and the handles are comfortable. The block is sturdy and stylish. My only complaint is that this, like most sets, is loaded with steak knives to up the piece count.
