Beautiful Pot

I have this in the 3.5 qt size and it is truly one of my favorite Staub pieces. I am excited to bring it out each fall and it remains on my stove top as a centerpiece the entire season through Thanksgiving. I use it for very soup stew or chili I make and it is the highlight of the Thanksgiving table each year with my baked stuffing in it. Easy clean up due to the Staub matte black interior that behaves almost like a non stick.

Nice, elegant 5 quart cocotte is big enough to handle all meals big and small. Enamel both inside and out is quite durable.

Pumpkin Time!

Fall is my favorite time of year and this cocotte gives me that warm fuzzy feeling every time I take it out. Always use to hold my Halloween candy, and get tons of compliments. Much nicer than some of the other copy cat pumpkins on the market. Really classy and great color.
Use as a server for stews and soups. Keeps hot foods hot for a long time and is a great conversation piece!

The manufacturer did not apply a thick enough layer of orange glaze around the pumpkin because I can see the dark cast iron underneath, which makes the color really dull and nowhere near as vibrant as pictured. The lid is actually perfect so that's why I know the pumpkin itself is not up to par. Really disappointed, as it is a beautiful piece.

I love having this piece to bring out for fall dishes/cooking. The seasonal burnt orange adds a pop of seasonal color to the kitchen/dinner table. It's a great way to show off and serve your fall soups to your dinner guests or just use for decoration!
