Needed a carving set for the holidays and purchased this set. The price was right and so far so good. The fork is nice and sturdy, and has long tines, which really gripe the meat when carving. The carver is one piece construction with a full tang, which makes for effortless carving, and nice even slices. We have used this set for poultry, beef and pork and we are very pleased with how it works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A sufficent carving set if you want a carving set, but don't use if often like my parents. Good weight, great price.

A holiday dinner must have tools!

These two are great together for a go-to knife outdoor barbeque, indoor cooking needs. This is a daily used knife for slicing large chunk of knife, vegetable or even fruits. It is good to have available fork to slice or carving food.

Great carving set for a great price

I was looking for a carving set to be able to carve my Thanksgiving turkey that was beautiful, but didn't break the bank. I love the design of this set, especially the curve of the handle that feels great in my hand.

A Nice Intro Set

Both pieces are made from a single-piece, stamped blade construction. It also has a full tang (one piece of steel running head to toe). Will cut through any meat easily. Handles are comfortable and easy to grip.

Once you've worked all day to get the perfect Turkey and all the fixings just the way you want them, you bring them to the table and then sadly realize you will need to use an old kitchen knife and a big serving fork... busted, that really takes the wow out of the prep! I learned my lesson, after my last thanksgiving boo boo, I raced out get a carving set. I realized that it should be a good quality set because it will have to last and look good thru decades of holiday meals. Amongst all of the mediocre sets out there I was so happy to find a good quality set for much less than I thought I would have to pay.
