Heirloom Deep Skillet that is incredibly well-made

We have slowly been collecting Staub cookware, and this deep skillet was our most recent addition. The size is perfect. It's deep enough that you don't have to worry about food spilling over. All Staub products are incredibly well-made heirloom pieces. The grenadine color is the one we've been collecting. The color is absolutely gorgeous- rich and deep and it has a lovely shine. I highly recommend this deep skillet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's exactly what I was looking for. a cast iron that doesn't need the upkeep of an original, almost dummy proof which is great for me :) It is a little heavy when pouring, but using the tiny handle on the other side helps with that. Definitely would recommend!

Staub cast iron is safe up to oven safe up to 900˚F which is great for when you want to start something off on the stove and finish in the oven and enjoy the full benefit of cast iron features.
This skillet serve many uses for daily cooking, cast iron unsurpassed for slow-cooking meats and vegetables to tender perfection, excellent browning meat, and searing steaks.
It is recommended to handwash cast iron because it is too heavy for the dishwasher to handle, although it is dishwasher safe.
A gorgeous cookware so beautiful you'll want to serve your food in them, from the oven straight to your table setting.
This is an excellent gifting idea for wedding, anniversary, housewarming or to upgrade to a higher level of cookware and a fancy family dining.

This skillet may just have everything one could want in a fry pan. I appreciate the taller sides to avoid mess but also to allow more capacity. But most of all, the innovative Staub nonstick enameled surface is a dream to cook on. Even with the high, even heat from the cast iron, the interior surface easily releases food and makes clean up easy too. Though heavy in nature, this cast iron skillet is fabulous addition to any kitchen.
