Greatest knife set ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives came out of the box sharp and are still sharp. The smaller knives are light and easy to handle by anyone. The Chef’s knife has great weight and balance.

German quality

I got these knives as a Christmas gift for myself and they’re really sharp. I like the handle, it doesn’t feel to heavy or uncomfortable. Description says they got a lifetime warranty so I think it says a lot. Anyway, I love the quality of my knives and I know I’ll be enjoying them every day since I cook a lot!

Very little to not like

These knives have a good weight and balance. They were received amazingly sharp. My only dislike is the handles dont seem as high quality as there blades. Aesthetics are not as important as function and they will last forever.

A compact set, good so far

I have a Zwilling Chinese Chefs knife for more than 10 years. I seldom sharpen it but it works quite well. Always want to try out other knives by Zwilling and decided to get this entry level set. So far it's not disappointing. As you can see from the picture, it's quite compact. The whole block does not take a lot of space and is good to place over the counter. It includes a few knives, a sharpening tool, and a scissor. The knives, as marketed online, are made in Germany. The scissor and the wooden block are made in China. Different knives are supposed to be used for different purposes. As a one-knife-for-all user before, I am still getting used to the knives based on their use scenarios. But they are sharp. I was cleaning the knife with a sponge and it slices a thin piece off of it. I guess I need to be super careful when using them. LOL

Quality set at a reasonable price. This made a great Christmas gift. I originally was going to buy three knives but it was a better deal to buy the set as it was discounted for the holidays.
