Finally a small set for someone who just needs a few knives. They are both made of German forged steel. The handles are very comfortable. The blades stay sharp for a very long time and are easy to maintain. The chefs knife is great for all of my big jobs and the pairing is perfect for peeling and any small work.

I got this two piece set for my husband for his birthday and he LOVES them so much. Amazing quality! Perfect German steel and comfortable handles. My Mom has always swore by this brand as well. She still has her wedding set from the 80’s and uses them daily. Thank you so much!

A great place to jump in

Thinking about upgrading or just trying out new knives? This is a terrific place to start. First because you can never go wrong with an 8-inch chef's knife and a paring knife. And second because of the quality. These two knives will be in your knife collection for forever. They are the most used shapes in a kitchen - chopping, slicing, dicing, mincing, coring, peeling and they are made with a steel that was engineered to stay sharp and to last. That's a value.
There’s a reason the Four Star line has been a part of Zwilling’s lineup as long as it has. It was designed with professionals in mind, so the focus was on safety, comfort and durability. The ‘grippy’ polypropylene handle is proportionate to the blade and the work - therefore no excess weight. The blade steel and method of construction is proprietary and at the forefront of technology. The blade can both take a beating and hold an edge, ideal for daily use and hard work.
Although dishwasher safe, all knives perform and look better if they are hand washed. I’ve had a Four Star in my collection for decades. And it still comes out for certain jobs. I expect it will be there for a while longer.
