For a family of four, this is the pot I use on a regular basis. Love the size and shape for braising, stewing and steaming vegetables. We love to cook our dumplings in this pot! The lid is a bonus for watching without touching!! this pot also fits well in our counter top oven!!

This pot is easy to use since it is enameled, so I don't have to season it like a normal cast iron pan, and I love how wide it is so that I can brown a lot of meat at one time. The lid is made of a heavy glass and when I put it on, it creates a wonderful seal and I love how I can see what I am cooking without having to open the lid. I have also found that this pot is so beautiful that I can take it straight from the stove to the table as a serving dish.

This is a beautifully designed Staub Braiser. I really like that I can sear meat in it, add some broth & vegetable and just let it simmer...heavenly! Glass Lid is a plus and love the Dark Blue Color.

I love love love this bright red pan, its a great shape and the glass lid is awesome for the stove top, i can see how nicely the food is progressing. The high dome allows for the steam to build up but not sit right on the food. When the lid comes off this is a most beautiful serving pan too. I live that i don't need to move the food to a bowl and cool it down in the process. It arrives piping hot to the table ( hint, look into the magnetic trivets Staub makes too soo handy!!)

Great price for this wonderful piece. I love the lid is glass and domed, so I can fit large cuts of meat and the lid still closes. The cherry color is beautiful!

Sausage and potatoes with sauerkraut is one of my fav meals in this braiser! But it makes so much more. Eggplant parmesan and meat and veggie dishes are also perfect. I love glass lids so I don't have to open the pot as much! Staub cooks so evenly and warms throughout, while keeping the dishes moist and tender.

Does everything...use as flat wok...braiser... or short cocotte. Most unique and durable colour. Tough enameled interior ready for anything!

Very versatile. large flat bottom and decent height. Glass lid is solid and domed. The graphite colour pretty much matches any décor as well.
