My favorite cooking vessel of all time!

I’ve lived my life of 56 years..over 37 years of them cooking a lot and I’ve used all sorts of cooking implements.
This has to be my favorite of all time! It cooks evenly, has ample room to make a myriad of dishes, and best of all—-it cleans up like a charm! It isn’t too crazy heavy and I adore the see through lid...GENUIS! It will be with me forever! It’s also capable of being a heirloom piece, it’s made that well!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Staub is Best in Class

I use this pan at least 3 or 4 times a week, as we are eating in more due to the quarantine restrictions. The heat in the pan is distributed evenly and does such a great job browning. I make our entire meal in the Braiser and serve the meal in it as well. Beautiful and functional cookware.

This is a great all purpose pan. The dark interior is great for browning and searing meats and chicken. Great for frying chicken and potatoes, as the pan does a great job crisping and browning. Glass lid lets you easily monitor cooking progress. Beautiful and functional pan that can transition easily from stove or oven to the table for convenient serving.

all around great pan

I love cooking with a lid. Most skillets don't come with one but here with the braiser I get the best of both worlds. A large flat base for a great sear and a domed lid to keep in moisture. I use this pan for all meals. I really like the low maintenance enamled cast iron of Staub. I love not needing to season the iron and the colors really pop,

Love it - but small chip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan. Everything cooks evenly an it is big enough to cook basically anything. My only issue is that I noticed last night there is a small chip around the top edge. I am not sure how it got there, but it doesn't seem that it should be that fragile.

Have limited space in my kitchen so I need to choose things carefully. This pan can be used for so many different things, both inside the oven an on top of the stove. Loves using it for braising, roasting, stews, sauces, rices, grains, and risotto. Great for steaming mussels and shrimp, and the glass lid lets you see whats going on without losing steam and heat. The thing I like most is that the pan readily goes from kitchen to table. No longer have to transfer into serving dish. Saves space and clean up time.
