This pan would have had to have been returned if I didn't have the perfect lid already to seal it during cooking. The sides are very shallow and splatters would take too much time to clean up. Read the directions THROUGHLY on how to heat, prep, cool down, and clean this pan and you'll absolutely love it. I made a Moroccan blackened seared duck breasts for my guests over Memorial weekend and it was absolute perfection for the entrée meal. This has been a dream come true to finally own this pan and it didn't let me down for one second. It is s everything you think it is and more, so please have this pan as a part of your cooking staples if you take grilling indoors seriously. Just remember to respect the cast iron and ANY food will come off with very little effort. I took this pan from gas stove top to a 400° over to create the ultimate medium-pink duck color effortlessly! It's all in how you prep the pan. My very best to all the fellow chefs and Gourmet Foodies you will not ever disappointed with this wonderful pan. Thank you Zwilling for offering a special so I can finally feel like I have "arrived" in the indoor grilling area. Step aside George Foreman let the French show you how it's done!

Nightmare to Clean

I was really excited for this pan and it grills pretty well, however, it is an absolute nightmare to clean. There are always marks left from whatever you cook so it never looks quite right. Most recently I grilled some marinated chicken cutlets on it and the fair amount of stuck on food WILL NOT COME OFF. The pan was oiled when cooking, I tried boiling water in it for a while after, soaking it overnight, scrubbing, and it still will not come off. Extremely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT GRILLING CAST IRON, INDOOR/OUTDOOR

I bought a Staub 10" grill pan 2 years ago. Its steady, even heat distribution, for a home cooked grilled steak and salmon, it is the most moist, tender and perfectly cooked dish. Added side vegetables and herbs! A cast iron perfect for day-to-day use and be passed from generation to generation. Requires no seasoning and dishwasher safe.

This pretty turquoise grill pan is a bright addition to the stove or grill. Use this round beauty indoor or out and achieve desired grill marks and consistency. Though a little more tedious to clean, this piece is totally worth it to cook with!

Add a color of the sea to your stovetop with this turquoise fry pan. Your shrimp and fish will never cook better than on this enameled cast iron surface. Get the perfect brown and sear you desire on your food!

Great size

Love this Spring color!! this is a size that's perfect for every day use. I keep this pan on my counter throughout the Spring and Summer season. i like to use this for vegetable kebobs, grilled chicken, burgers and hotdogs. Clean up is a breeze. The handles are great to have for transporting from stove to table. The ridges are deep enough to achieve perfect grill marks. Easy to use and easy to clean. I typically wipe this clean with a damp cloth.
