[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 as a gift for my sister who is just starting college, I can say that so far it is working as expected. My only issue was that I purchased the model with 4GB of RAM which made it difficult to multitask on the device as it got incredibly slow. I have since changed out the 4 GB for 8 GB and it works perfectly.
Overall In would recommend this Laptop as a school computer as it seems to work well for most tasks. If you can afford it get the 8GB of RAM model as it will be better in the long run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding quality! This laptop more than adequately meets my needs for stock trading, document creation (MS Office), web surfing, and emailing. While I haven't used it for challenging computations, I think it would easily handle bigger demands. Boot-up time, application response time, and wifi downloads are all fast. Very easy setup as the software asks for your preferences the first time PC is powered on. Love the touch screen. Keyboard has a backlight toggle with two different brightness options. Slim form factor for slipping into a backpack or other carry bag.
