I've had the laptop less than a month and it is already in for warranty service. And the order was messed up for the warranty and it took me nearly a dozen calls, multiple emails, several days and long waits on hold to finally get that straightened out. On the positive side, before the keyboard quit we were happy with the way it booted up quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this on the recommendation of a colleague that has the previous model. It's fast but the fan is LOUD is it kicks on A LOT, even when I'm not running any heavy duty programs. I would have liked one more USB port. Two is too few. I've only had this machine a couple months, but the fingerprinting is already failing even though the button and my fingertip are sparkling clean. Honestly, I am not sure it was worth the gobs of money I spent on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
