Very solid construction. Works like a charm when hooking up to Tesla chargers. The Tesla plug cover does take a little wiggling to remove as does any plugs that are connected to it. All in all a great adapter to have.

Works well. There’s a 48-amp adapter made by Lectron and It’s it’s probably a better fit if you have the Tesla wall connector. I ony found about it after I bought this adapter.

Bought for adding to my collection of plug adapters to cover bases so I have more options when on the road. Have used and functioned as described on my I-Pace - with the tesla driven plug war it makes sense to have for emergencies or thin coverage of networks.

Purchased the 48 amp Tesla to J1772 adapter and connected to my Tesla wall connector and then to my R1t. It worked great. Solid tool. Latches securely to the Tesla connector and the vehicle

Works great, but rain can be problematic later.

Owned my adapter since February 2022, so just over a year of use with a Tesla Mobile charger (240v) in my garage. Recently though, I've had to park outside in the driveway so my wife can park in the garage and had to charge while raining. I've definitely charged in the rain before with no problems, but this week I started getting faults due to water ingress where the Tesla connector is inserted into the Lectron adapter. Dried it out and it started working again, but then it rained heavily last night and it faulted again. I'm thinking the adapter is just not as water-tight now as it was a year ago. Since I never use this adapter on the road, I'll just dry everything out and either wrap cellophane around the connection point and tape around the ends OR I'll use silicone to seal the connection. Silicone won't be a permanent adhesion, so it would probably work better.
