Tesla to J1772 Adapter, I have the Tesla wall connector unit in my garage already, so I wanted to use it with my BMW X5 45e (2021), which is a plugin hybrid. The BMW requires J1772. Also, there are many Tesla destination chargers at local shopping or in Florida resort hotels, so having the adapter is useful when travelling.

I bought adapter to use with Tesla Gen 3 wall connector for my 2021 BMW X5 45e PHEV that I want to share with my future tesla vehicle. I works fine and reduced my charging time from 24 hrs to less than 7 hrs. Tesla Gen 3 wall connector is on 60A separate line as per code.

This worked great. I bought as insurance since I reside in CA and there are so many Tesla level 2 chargers out there. Stopped at a distillery in Napa and charged my Mach E. I didn’t have to pay for any charges during the whole trip.

The product works on the Ioniq 5 but you do have to plug it in with the tesla charger and wait 30 sec for it to fail and then turn on the car for it to start charging.

My 4th purchase at Lectron. Three chargers (EVSE) and this Tesla to J1772 adapter. We have a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV and a 2023 Nissan Ariya Evolve+. I've been charging the Bolt for over a year with the same Lectron EVSE. I keep one EVSE in the Bolt, one is mounted in the driveway (on the side of the house), and the third is mounted in the garage. The one mounted outside on the side of the house, is the one that has been used for the Bolt. Outside in every form of weather, in every range of temperature, still going strong.

This product works great on my 2021 Pacifica Hybrid at a hotel Tesla charger in the garage were I park it (my highest priority). Have not used it at other chargers but am hopeful it will do the same.
Would have given this a 5 star had it come in a smaller form factor. Not sure it had to be this long and bulky as it needs to be very accessible (drivers seat area) but not so large it’s in the way.
