Not rain proof

Works well but in the rain water collects in the Tesla end and makes the charger think it’s grounded and stops charging until the water dries up
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really well made. My charger is 25' but when we bought a second plug in we needed to reach the other side of the garage. I ran the first up in the rafters and dropped it halfway to charge the first car, then the extension the other half to charge the second car. I unplug it when I need to charge car one and leave it plugged in and charge the second car. It's not exciting but it really is very helpful and makes things so much easier for an activity we do every day - charge. Don't buy the cheap ones, they aren't safe - you are running a lot of current through it, this is UL listed. I don't lose any amperage over the extension. Very pleased.

Works Great, Very Durable, Life Saver

I bought this about a week ago and have used it every night since I've gotten it. I was very apprehensive the first time I actually used it because 1) it was pouring rain, 2) I had my Level 1 charger connected to a 25 ft extension cable as well (not recommended, I know). I have had no issues with this cable connecting to my Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and its been used literally every night in the rain for 7+ hours and my Jeep has always charged faster than the displayed time.
I was also a little nervous about this product after seeing quite a few reviews mentioning the protective sheathing coming off near the ends...the material on this cable seems super durable and unless it is being treated rather harshly, I don't see the sheathing coming apart as I've seen in other reviews very easily...they must be yanking on the cable from the other end or something to do that after "a couple uses". Leave some slack, be smart about it, and I don't see why this product won't last a good amount of time.
One thing to keep in mind, as this is a 40ft long cable made of very thick material, it is a pretty hefty cable to coil up and carry. It can definitely be a PITA and I've invested in some additional items to make it more manageable (mainly a hose reel and a box to store it in and transport if needed).
But overall, definitely love this thing, my Jeep is down a 50 ft driveway and there is no way in heck I'd be able to charge it at home without this extension cable. 100% recommend if you are in need of more range for your charger!

It is sturdy and well made. It is long enough that I can park my Chevy Bolt in the driveway and still use my Level 2 Enel X JuiceBox 40 Amp charger in the garage. Highly recommended for this use case.

Does exactly what I needed it to do. There is a Tesla HPWC where I work and wanted an adapter so that I could charge at work and not have to carry my OE EVSE around in the car. This allows me to keep it at home and bring the adapter to work so I can charge my car. Works flawlessly on my 2016 Chevy Spark EV.
The adapter itself is hefty and has a nice, quality feel. Tesla charger end plugs in and fits snug, rests inside the J1772 port snug as well. High quality adapter, we'll see if it lasts. Worth the money if you travel and are near Tesla HPWCs.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It supports up to 40 amp charging and it also comes with a heavy-duty 40ft/12m outdoor cable. I used a 20 foot cable before and it was ok 90% of the time but 40 feet will be 100%. I needed an extension to reach our outlet and it works well.

Tesla to J1772 Adapter, I have the Tesla wall connector unit in my garage already, so I wanted to use it with my BMW X5 45e (2021), which is a plugin hybrid. The BMW requires J1772. Also, there are many Tesla destination chargers at local shopping or in Florida resort hotels, so having the adapter is useful when travelling.
