Works well, despite brief initial error indication

Worked great with a Tesla destination charger. I followed the instructions and waited 30 seconds after connecting the adapter to the Tesla cord and before plugging in to my J1772 port. Initially my port showed a red light indicating an error, but that cleared after five seconds or so. Similarly, the display on my dash showed an error initially, but that also cleared five seconds or so after the port's light turned green. Charging then proceed at 7.3 kW, which is right around the max for my vehicle when using a level 2 charger, so all good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a Fisker Ocean which works with 1772. I bought this adaptor so that I can be prepared to charge with the Tesla chargers. It's a nice piece of equipment, sits in my trunk at the ready, for when I need it.

If you're driving a new KIA with a native NACS input, you'll need this adapter before your next road trip. There are a lot of Tesla Superchargers out there but they're not everywhere. Do yourself a favor and put one of these in your frunk for some extra peace of mind.

A must have for your EV!

It works fine with the Tesla destination chargers found out there’s a switch in the handle on the on the release mechanism To start charging you have to depress the switch to start the Tesla charger after it’s connected to the car then it works perfectly

Work as intended

It works as described and allows charging at a Tesla station. I've been using it for months and never had any problems. And I've been alternating between my Tesla and my wife's Hybrid, so taking it on and off, which puts more stress on the unit.

I used the adapter on a Tesla destination charger at a hotel in upstate NY the level 2 was iced so I was able to use the tesla charger to charge my ioniq electric.
