Faster charge

Recently purchased as a backup charger for my Audi Q5 phev and our home only can charge level 1. The oem Audi charger will take about 12 hours from almost empty to full while Lectron takes about 8 hours. Also, the unit is less bulky while provide faster charge so this is now my main charger at home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't emphasize enough much better 16 amps is compared to the 10 or 12 amp chargers that tend to come with new EVs. I saw about 60% faster charging compared to a 10 amp charger - that brought my 20-80% level one charging time from 46 hours down to 28 hours, which is well worth it. Just be sure to check that the circuit has a 20 amp breaker to support it and you'll be golden.
I used this as my normal charger at home for a year and a half before installing a level two charger. Now I use it for travel, which is again so helpful because that's when charging time tends to matter most. Major shout out to the great people at Lectron who are responsive and happy to answer any questions.
