This is exactly what I needed. A seriously thick cord -- my only concern (which turned out fine) was that the garage door would not close. I put some rubber on both sides of where the cable lays on the ground to protect it from the closing garage door. No damage to the cord and the door still closes. Some day I may actually clean the garage and not need this extension, but this seems less and less likely as time goes on.

Really well made. My charger is 25' but when we bought a second plug in we needed to reach the other side of the garage. I ran the first up in the rafters and dropped it halfway to charge the first car, then the extension the other half to charge the second car. I unplug it when I need to charge car one and leave it plugged in and charge the second car. It's not exciting but it really is very helpful and makes things so much easier for an activity we do every day - charge. Don't buy the cheap ones, they aren't safe - you are running a lot of current through it, this is UL listed. I don't lose any amperage over the extension. Very pleased.

It is sturdy and well made. It is long enough that I can park my Chevy Bolt in the driveway and still use my Level 2 Enel X JuiceBox 40 Amp charger in the garage. Highly recommended for this use case.

Bought for use with a Ford Pro Station Charger. My driveway is really tight so I need this extension to reach outside of the garage.
Because the Ford Pro Station comes with a CCS1 plug I needed to cut away some of the material of the shroud to allow the CCS1 to latch onto the J1772 port.
It limits the charging speed but allows me to use the charger in the garage that is hooked up to my dedicated EV electrical meter for reduced cost. It will pay for itself over time!
