The unit is solid, and represents a good value for the money. An improvement that should be considered is a more positive locking of the device to the vehicle when plugging it in. The click or noticeable confirmation of the connection is lacking and it does not always appear to be snugly connected.

My Jeep Wrangler 4xe came with a 12amp charger that took over 16 hours for a full charge, the Lectron 16amp charger cut that down to 13, all at 110. The build quality is great and I've not had a problem.
