[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 2-Drawer refrigerator had temperature control issues on day one. Due to supply chain issues repair parts weren't available, Kitchen relaced it with a new unit. The new one must be an updated model with some upgrades, temperature holds spot-on (I added thermometers in each drawer).
I was pleasantly surprised that there are companies that still exist that have adequate customer support. Kitchen Aid proved to be great, unlike the other major American appliance company whose name begins with 2 capital letters and now is NOT owned by the parent corporation. Kitchen Aid dishwashers also are great.

Unfixable Alarm Issues

After 6 months, alarm kept going off.
Warranty service provider was unable to fix and finally claimed it was an install issue…needed to have some clearance on either side.
Drawings in the manual do show clearance ONLY IF it has a cabinet panel overlay, which we did not. There is another reference in the manual drawings but it is referring to the vertical space between the drawers, not clearance on each side.
Kitchen Aid refused to replace the defect unit based upon incompetent warranty service provider

Leaks water / condensation

Bought this for installation in our pantry in our new house. Moisture accumulates and spills out when the bottom drawer is pulled open. The fridge is really nice. Keeps everything cold, if the water issue could be resolved I’d give it a 5. We have had a Marvel double drawer refrigerator in our old house’s pantry, it never ever built up moisture. This moisture is ruining our pantry flooring. I have phoned in for help twice, customer service said there is no remedy

Alarm Issues

One year old model (no ice maker) suddenly has decided to go off every 6-8 hours with the alarm saying the top drawer is having a temp issue (which it isn't) The last time was at 1 am...not not nice!

Can’t get the front of the drawers clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually the 4th Panel Ready Kitchen Aid Undercounter Double Drawer refrigerator we have ordered. { sold a house with the first] These units have operated flawlessly since installation. We currently have 2 at our lake house and work really well for beer, soda and wine. We just installed the most recently purchased unit in a small condo we own in Florida. Takes a lot of pressure off the upright rerigerator and leaves more space for food there. Dependable and very convenient. Can't imagine not having one in our house or condo.

The best use of refrigerated space in any kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid DD refrigeration system has been the best adjunct to my new professional home kitchen (I am a research & development corporate chef)!
Easy access to the items I need close by / frequently combined with efficient and "to the degree" temperature precision control....makes this a winning purchase. The drawers are solid - able to hold a large volume and heavy contents as well. Soft-closing drawers / well lit / easy to tweak control panel / etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
