I've typically purchased the T or the P series laptops but they just weren't powerful enough for the processing we do at work. So far, I've been very pleased with the performance of this machine and highly recommend it.

RealTech camera is terrible

The integration camera is always blurry. I tried updating drivers, cleaning the lens, lighting changes, it's just a bad camera and i see online, there is a forum for others who have the same problem. I hope they have addressed it with the Gen 3 since we are all virtual now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the X1 Extreme Gen 3 Laptop with 16GB memory and 1TB SSD from my 8 year old workhorse T430 which was a great machine. I am very happy with the X1 Extreme! It is extremely quick to start up and the performance is fantastic! The basic FHD display is very crisp with excellent color.
A bonus was I upgraded the old T430 from 8GB - 16GB memory and a 1 TB SSD which has completely transformed the T430 into another powerhouse machine and moved it onto my wife to replace and old Toshiba. She is super happy with it and we both have great machines now.

My only complaint is that the Vantage software included for maintenance purposes is mostly ads to sell you stuff.
