Excel function is a little bit funky on the latest Windows 10. It doesn't show all of my excel sheets. The BIOS update stalled for 2 hrs and I had to reboot computer. Sound and screen resolution are terrific. Some hiccups with Bluetooth setting, it'll log my headset off, twice so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good machine (the specs tell you that) but I can't get past the cheap feel of Lenovo keyboards or the dang Ctrl key not being in the same place as every other laptop and keyboard. The X1 Extreme is not as ugly as its predecessors but it's still just... clunky. I have a pretty strong aversion to ThinkPads for these reasons because they're things that matter each and every time I use it. And that makes them a very big deal. I've had several ThinkPads, all company issued of course, and each time I'm reminded that I would never have one by choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
