But the fingerprint power button is fine and once I got everything updated the battery life has also easily been 6+ hours. It's a good machine with all the features I want and what really drew me to it was all the ports. Everything I wanted and needed and very little that I didn't!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Anything that didn't work was part of my learning curve. This laptop does everything I've ever dreamed of, efficiently and at a speed that makes it feel like it knows what I'm thinking before I can even act on it. I'm a mouse user who has had struggles with the touchpad of any previous laptop I've ever used. This thinkpad was responsive without being itchy while I was connecting and transferring from my old laptop, and has stayed locked upon my command. The keyboard is responsive, neither overly active nor resistant. Graphics and sound, despite my hesitancy based on other reviews, has been spot-on. The extra memory means I can have everything on the laptop, conveniently ready as I need it. I can't speak to customer service because I've only had the laptop for a few weeks, and haven't needed to reach out to Lenovo.

Within the first two days of me using this laptop the touchscreen stopped working. Lenovo tech support told me to send it back to them, but the software and downtime that it would cost to go without my computer for a couple weeks could buy multiple computers so I have decided to buy a new computer and set it up then send this one in for repair and use as a backup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
