Product itself is great so far. The build quality is excellent and the machine feels solid. No concerns with use to date. Battery life seems a little on the short side, and costly could be a tad brighter, but both of these were known from previous reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer has wonderful specs, aesthetics, and performance. However there is one glaring flaw. The battery cannot last a single night while asleep. For me the battery drained 24% in 3 hrs and was warm to the touch. This is NOT due to faulty hardware. The battery is completely fine. No amount of part replacement will fix it. I have gone through hours of Lenovo support to find this out. The chipset in this computer does not support (S3) Standby, only modern standby. It cannot be changed in BIOS, nor Windows.This results in the battery draining faster during sleep than it does while awake or off. The only option is to hibernate or turn the computer off. This essentially makes the computer worthless if you need it to last the day away from a wall outlet. Do not buy this if you need a reliable computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thinkbook for less than 2 months with very limited use and yesterday it would not boot up. Now my option is to drive 60 miles to nearest service center or wait for them to send me a box to ship it back them for repairs, with no estimate of how long I will be without the computer.

System performs well for multi-tasking with only 8-Gb Ram, and boot-up time is good. Finger print sensor could be better positioned to match non-Yoga style; side button can be challenging versus top mount sensor. Overall, excellent build quality, love the built-in camera cover, hinges are sturdy, and it travels well.
