I bought many rubbermaid storage boxes. This one soecifically is the best one I ever bought. The lids always fit snug. They never break or lose form. Even when stacked. I use these bins as my base because they are the most durable and have a flat lid. I bought different style bins from rubbermaid. Some lids actually broke, didn't fit, lost its form or seemed to be made of cheaper material. Consumers kcan tell when a product is made cheaper. It would be best not to change to cheaper material when making these bins. No rubbermaid box or lid should ever break!e

This is the 6th tote of this size I've purchased. I'm quite happy with them. They stack easily. The lid stays on when you need it to and comes off easily. They're durable, look good and a convenient size for my use.

We moved from Canada to Queensland, Australia and can not find them anywhere!!! I'm glad I brought my 15 or that we had with us. The storage boxes they sell here crack and break. Many of our Aussie friends have asked me where I bought them!!?? They would be a hit with the Aussies with all their 4x4 and fishing they do. Please look at distributing them here!! You'd make me a very happy Canuck!! ( I esp Love my green ones, olive would be a great colour to come out with if your thinking of new colours!!!)

Great for storage in flood prone basement!

We needed to store baby items under the stairs, but have history of water on basement floor. I was concerned that no bag would do the job of protecting the items and keeping them clean. Rubbermaid Roughneck totes to the rescue! The size of Totes we purchased even safely contains a car seat with base. I am satisfied and have peace of mind that expensive baby items will be safe and clean when needed for our next child.

I probably own 30 of these storage bins and purchased over a 25 year period. I use them to store things in my attic where they are subjected to very hot (> 120 degrees F) and very cold (< 10 degrees F) in a year's time. Never had any problems with breaking or cracking! These are GREAT products.

We bought these 16 years ago, and will celebrate 17 years the 27 of Feb. We purchased 20 or so, and only 3 this last year gave us problems with cracks. That is good for being used to carry dry products up to 50 lbs. Thank You!
