Best all round Storage box

I love this storage box. I have several in my garage and they withstand everything mother nature can throw at them. I trust the roughneck with my childrens priceless art and pictures in my basement because I know they will keep everything safe and dry. I even have a few under the babies crib and my daughters bed, holding bigger sized clothing for adventures yet to come. Rubbermaid packs our lunches, stores our precious memories, and keeps me organised so I have time to make new memories with my family. Thanks Rubbermaid!

Garage Storage In a Box

My husband and I purchase these roughneck boxes regularly, with three kids in the house. There's no end of durability with these boxes! They stack easily inside of each other when not being used, and are easy to clean and keep contaminants out.
The only downside is, if you have significant changes in temparature, let's say a really hot summer to a really cold winter, the boxes have sometimes cracked in one of the top corners. Given the pliability of the plastic, I was surprised this happened. We live in the midwest, so these types of drastic temperature changes are rare. My best guess was that it occurred during a weak point in the season and the box on top of the box that cracked must have been sitting on it just right to have caused the damage.
However, for the money, you know you're getting a value and there's certainly no loss in using these for every kind of storage you'd ever need. These boxes hold our kid's clothing, old toys, keepsakes, holiday decorations, and more!
If you're looking for a good general storage box that will keep your items safe, clean, and well organized, look no further than the Roughneck Storage Box.

storage totes are so durable

I have children and over the years have used many different kinds of storage totes. The only storage I ever suggest or buy now is the RUBBERMAID ROUGHNECK. The other types of hard plastic storage items are easily cracked and broken. The roughneck have never broken on us as we use them for camping gear,toy boxes,storage for clothes and many other uses. LOVE this product. Thanks Rubbermaid!

Not a cardboard box

Roughneck Storage Boxes outlast and outperform any cardboard box especially when the get wet, it doesn't fall apart or grow mold.

Roughneck totes kept my Holiday ornaments dry during flooding of two feet of water during Super Storm Sandy. The totes were totally under water. I thought for sure my ornaments were lost after hearing neighbors talk about how they opened their containers and they were full of water. I definitely got my money's worth as I have had the totes for over 10 years. Thank you Rubbermaid.

I carry a big box of paint supplies going to different relatives to help them paint. Cardboard just didn't make it!! Got a Roughneck a couple years ago and my "box falling apart" troubles are gone forever - no matter how many times it is in and out of my truck.

This product is tough enough to withstand weather if left outside. It is very spacious...enough to hold a number of various items. I love this product for holding Christmas decorations....out of season clothes, etc. I highly recommend this product to anyone that has things to store.

I love these totes. They literally live up to thier name. I have tried many different brands over the years and the quality of the Rubbermaid brand just can't be beat. They are the only ones remaining in good condition while the others are cracked, broken, or warped. The cost is a little high, but considering the quality, this is one product that is totally worth the added expense.
