Placed a styrofoam cooler inside, cut a hole at the end of a long side of both containers, stuffed with wheat straw and VOILA! I have a perfect little feral cat shelter!!!

I have used the 'roughneck' storage containers for a number of years. I am a teacher and store books in a facility that is not climate controlled. The books are always in great shape when I open the containers each year. I was disappointed that I could not find a store in my area that sells the 'roughneck' division. I am so glad I was able to order them on-line!

I agree with others who've said that there is nothing that compares to Roughneck totes...but I also agree that WE NEED LIDS!!!

Needed more storage containers and Rubbermaid always made a quality product. The new ones are not as well made as the old ones they have definitely cheapened the product but they will serve the purpose for which they were intended.

Can't Get Replacement Lids

I have five Roughneck 18 Gal Totes. The totes are good quality and have lasted for many years but the three older ones have no lids because the lids dry out and become brittle and crack into pieces. It would be good if the lids were available for purchase separately..

Please make replacement lids available. I would have purchased other, more robust storage containers. Great product for light duty use.

Great totes - terrible lids

These totes are great. Last for years. The lids, however, get brittle over time and can crack. I have 10 of these 18 gallon totes at home (bought in 2010) and over the last 2 years half of the lids have cracked. Been looking online for replacements with no luck. Please start to offer lids at a reasonable price.
