These sound really good

After having found the NC's a little bulky for travelling, I went ahead and purchased the much smaller CL's. The CL's were not only easier to travel with; much to my surprise, sounded just as good.

Bought these in a store by a, b, c, d... ing with a blindfold on. Speakers you look at yourself; headphones you hear and feel. The sound attracted me first. It is smooth, light and to my aging ears flat. Extended bass seems to mean simply that. I can notice the cutoff frequencies from the mixing deck down to below 40Hz which is amazing, even compared to the boom and sizzle so popular with current youthful buyers. Not that you will be upset with that sort of sound... or any other I have tried. Henry VII's greatest hits,Ella Fitzgerald, Beach Boys, Disco, jazz, acid rock, and fullsome pounding orchestra all come across very well. Few headphones at all are this flexible. My longer term comfort testing is fine. I fiddled with switching the bows back and forth and bending them a little till I got things just right, which took a while. Now it takes about 5.5 hours before my ears begin to itch. And that, boys and girls, is why they look a little funky. First rate engineering and ergonomics do not go with cutesy splash or bling. Lastly, according to my friends, I sound better with this mic-ing system than others, none exactly cheap, that I have. Enjoy.

I bought these nice headphones for my own Christmas Gift at Best Buy and i got it on sale for 99.99. what can i say about them... there hella awesome!! blew me away when i played my 1st song Lady antebellum need you now, i was shocked how clear the sound is and i thought my SOL Republic's were better lol. i recommend these headphones for anyone who loves music like me. i am never gonna go back to Beats by Dre or Sol republics or even Bose. i thought Bose
was better i was wrong..

Lovely sound quality, and comfy for flights (just not transatlantic ones) the only reason they have got 4 stars is the cable. It is already starting to miss on the left channel, and trying to find a replacement is like trying to find rocking horse @@@@.

Superb sound quality

I needed something to replace my tired earbuds. I chose the HK - CL's on the ear headphones. The sound quality is gorgeous for a wide variety of music. Range is excellent. The metal band fits well, but is a bit awkward and head movement sometimes translates into slight acoustical rustle. These are not for sport or exercise use. But I've traveled with them and they stow well. They can shut out quite a lot of ambient noise, e.g, on planes and trains. Highly recommended and a good buy overall.

awesome sound , terrible audio cable

This head phone is great! Perfect sound, nice fit full bass and excellent highs & mids.
Only disappointment, after 3 months, the audio cable started to miss the left channel.. and I am searching everywhere for a replacemnet cable, I contacted HK support but even they could not help me, I am being sent from one dealer to another.. it's been 2 months since .. very disappointed...

just like i said this headphones are amazing just have a little problem and its that is uncomfortable after 40 min of use, maybe the solution is make the pads more spongy

Sound is amazing the con is the cable. It does not take much to make it start to miss out. Finding a replacement cable is next to impossible.
