No razor bumps

Easy razor

Good razor to start out with. Very gentle, and weight makes it easy to glide and not push into skin. It is easy to rinse with running water. Pair it with good quality shave creams. Make sure to keep head at 30 degree angle and use short strokes.

Death by 1000 cuts

Really wanted to like this razor as it seems to be marketed towards people of color. However, it’s impossible to use due to the excessive nicks/cuts. Maybe there’s a learning curve but I refuse to attempt another shave with this razor. Sucks it was so expensive.

The Bevel Razor is quite heavy. We strongly recommend using absolutely no pressure at all, the weight will do all the work for you. Also, there is a bit of extra care required around the contour lines. The Bevel Razor's head, of course, does not flex or pivot for you, and that takes a bit of practice to get down. The payoff is huge though.
Here is a great video that I think you'll find super helpful.
Additionally, short strokes are key! (above video shows this too). I know it's common to see guys in shaving commercials making quick long glides...you'll need to do just the opposite!
If you keep these points in mind, it's unlikely that you'll experience nicks like this.

Really nice solid feel. The weight is great. It's going to take some time to get used to using it but I like the safety razor a lot. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

It’s just ok . Less bleeding than with most “safety “ razors ; but I’m mystified as to why this product, like many high-end razors , has no slip - prevention design features when it’s wer. And it’s always wet if it’s actually being used .

20 Years of military service and finally a solution!

Shaving for some professions is key. We have waivers and profiles where we don't have to shave but some of us want to shave and feel like we're neck and neck with our competition. I've struggled for years looking for a shaving solution/regimen and almost gave up hope. I've tried everything under the sun. This double edge safety has been the fix and this regimen that bevel has created with their products and instructions are the best and only that I've found tailored to us. I know the safety razor wasn't created yesterday, but the whole product line and delivery has created a space that doesn't make me feel like I am trying to find a product that may not work for me. It's a great feeling. I highly recommend for beginners to try this product and to also follow the instructions. You will see and feel a difference.
