Extremely Disappointed

I have been searching for ages for a razor which would give me a close and comfortable shave. No matter in which direction I tried to shave, the beard hairs would just not come off my face. I finally had to resort to going back to my old Gillette mud shave to accomplish my task. I do not believe that your website represented your product accurately.

It sounds like the bottom plate is upside down. If so, it won't cut at all. The wings on the side should point upward away from the handle, covering up the short sides of the blades.

I really like my new limited edition Bevel Safety Razor. I can get a close shave on my skin without razor bumps later. Not too heavy, not too light. Perfect weight.

Worst razor burn I’ve ever had

Unfortunately this razor absolutely shredded up my face. I gave it a solid 3 weeks of repeated attempts and fine tuning my technique and lather, but there was simply no avoiding the irritation I got.
This is coming from someone who has always been able to shave irritation free with a quick rinse of water only, while using disposable razors.
I wanted to like this razor, I really did. It just didn’t work for me.
(I have used one other safety razor from another brand in the past that did not cut me up)

Very happy my beard had grown out a bit and I was dreading having to shave it worked beyond my expectations only complaint is it’s a little difficult to shave under the nose. Will never go back to cartridges again this is much easier and closer shave

Smooth shave, slippery handle.

Good balance and feel, felt pretty intuitive by the second shave. Cleans easily.
My only complaint is that the smooth handle gets slippery while shaving. I shave my head, so that requires holding the razor at more angles for longer than for just shaving the face and neck area, which leads to more shaving cream getting on the handle, making it really slick. I plan on adding knurling to the handle the next time I'm at the machine shop to reduce my chances of dropping it. Since not everyone has access to a metal lathe, that's my one suggestion for improvement.

I fell in love with it and still use it. Everytime I use it, it's still like the first day. The best quality razor for a price that is insanely good. Undervalued for sure. I wish they made straight razors.
