Thoughtful details and a great doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 daughters and they are definitely interested in a variety of dolls, especially those that they can perform makeover type things with. They were aware of the Rainbow High dolls but didn’t have any before, I received this product to review and the details are my honest opinions. I was somewhat surprised at the retail price point. Compared to a few other options the series (and manufacturing company) has, the price does seem fair since this set includes so many accessories. The clothes have nice details, there was even a warning about functionality of the overalls so they don’t get broken. My kids were able to dress and undress her without assistance, a win for me!
The packaging is attractive, the top is a little flimsy and only secured in spots by tape; overall it’s really nice aside from the outer rounded side since that little section was slightly open. The box is rather large, they even added a handle which is a nice touch—it achieves the concept of grabbing attention.
The Rainbow High dolls are 14” and are more generous in size than most smaller options, but not quite bulky like one in the 18” size. The body proportions seem a little more realistic, aside from the popular (by manufacturers) larger head.
Thoughtful details:
The stand does keep her upright.
Hangers were thought out, the pant clips actually work.
There’s an extra empty shoe box for the pair she’s wearing so every pair has a solid plastic box.
The comb fits in the tall boot box with the boots, the hair clips can be stored in an empty box if they’re being worn or easily store with a pair of shoes.

Downfalls:
the packaging! So much tape! The boxy section on right with spare wig just fell out when I was opening the top, the glue wasn’t actually secure on the back.
Lots of loose hair right out of the box.
Aside from the obvious smaller pieces, the hands pop off and the top endings of the rack come out.
The mannequin head isn’t usable, it’s a flimsy plastic frame only. Other details were carefully executed but it seems there’s no “home” for the 2nd wig.

pants, 2 jackets, 4 shirts, 1 camisole with complimentary colors for interchangeability. Also included is a clothing rack with multi-colored hangers and hairpins, 1 comb, a stand to hold and pose the doll, and 4 clear storage containers that the shoes and boots can be place in.
My daughter loves this!!
