Broke first week

It is a beautiful range. Everyone loves the way it looks. It feels high end. Unfortunately the oven does not cook. It turns itself off during the pre heat cycle every time. We had GE come look at it and even their own technician doesn't know how to fix it. Now I have a very expensive, beautiful range that doesn't cook.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unusable

My range was installed over a month ago but the conversion kit for the propane was left on the back - and hence unreachable - once it was installed. I have been unable to get anyone to respond to me on getting a duplicate kit or to help move the range so I can access the kit that came with it - so the range has been unusable since it was installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Randomly Shuts Off - just like the other reviews..

We were so happy to get this range. We had to wait MONTHS - nearly 9 - to get it. And then our first unit was faulty. Our excellent local shop tried replacing the UX, but that didn't fix the issue. Fortunately, the shop that we bought from were able to replace it immediately. After a few months the right oven began shutting off randomly. Again, we paid our local shop to come repair it. They replaced the switch oven start and that seemed to work.... for about a month. We are SO frustrated that such an expensive unit experiences so many issues. We have poured so much extra money into this range. We want to love it. There are great things about it, but we cannot recommend it.

Amazing

When reading all about the new model, it said it had an air fryer, however, mine did not have one. I love my oven and cannot say enough good about it. It was well worth the nine month weight, and boy do I have a beautiful baby.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The oven shuts off after about 390 minutes.

The range itself is gorgeous in my kitchen. I received this model as a replacement for the older version which they could not repair. I’ve only had the range a few months and the large oven shuts down after about 30 minutes. Also the airfry feature requires an app which is complicated to connect and then does not work. They should never advertise an air fry feature since it’s not useable. Customer service has been excellent even though I have issues. I’m currently waiting for the oven repair. If it works then I will change my rating. (Jan 2022)

What an amazing range!

We purchased this range after living the last five years with a Blue Star. I did a ton of research prior to our last purchase and felt, at the time we made a good choice. We were wrong. This range looks like a piece of art but don't let that fool you. This baby really cooks (literally). The ovens both heat up to full temperature in 10 min or less. They also are very well insulated and do not make you kitchen hot. The burners offer a wide range of options and are extremely precise in the flame when you are dialing in different settings. I am shocked at how precise they are. The ability to connect your phone to the ovens and preheat them, change temps and control them in general is a huge bonus. Both ovens come with a built in temp probe. After spending last Christmas cooking a roast and open the closing the door ten times checking my temps and rotating the roast around, this is like a dream come true. Even cooking and did I say air fryer? Yes.....BOTH ovens can be used as an air fryer. After spending a large sum on the unit prior to this and being disappointed, we were hesitant but pulled the trigger on this range and boy are we glad that we did that. I can't recommend it enough.

Oven spontaneously turns off!

My beautiful stove was installed May 19. The first time I used it (in June because we were traveling) the oven preheated, stayed at temp about 5 minutes, then shut itself off. We’ve had two companies look at it for warranty work. One of them came today and ‘repaired it’. Tonight after preheating, staying at temp for about 15 minutes, it shut off. Oh, and the striker on the burners ‘strike’ when the oven is on. So frustrating! We will be calling the service company in the morning…hoping for a quick re-repair!

Beautiful and great features

I have long admired the look of these ge cafe appliances. I debated between stainless steel, which is pretty classic, and the more trendy white. I ultimately went with white because it’s just so beautiful and also more matte so excellent in hiding fingerprints! But not only are they beautiful, but have so many cool features. I’d buy again in a heartbeat! Thank you!
