The only thing that kept me from 5 star is there was no book, no air fry pan, no probe, etc. why advertise these features and not include the necessary items

Very hard to keep clean

Contrary to what I was told this very expensive oven does not have self clean. the steam clean does close to nothing. I was told that to keep the oven interior clean you have to manually clean it with non abrasive cleaners. So I am back to the 1950's scrubbing my stove by hand. The fingerprint resistant stainless steel is nice but the control board is a black glass that shows every fingerprint, streak and droplet. The oven top looks messy all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're quite sorry to hear that the steam cleaning is not producing the desired results and understand your frustration. To remove any remaining stubborn, baked-on stains, apply a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend using a sponge or clean cloth. We also recommend following the cleaning instructions according to the cleaning section of the manual starting on page 28 of the manual.

Induction is amazing!

Using the app, it is so easy to start oven for preheat even when I am not at home. Alarm sounds can be regulated so I can hear when timer goes off even in another room. Convection feature in oven produces perfect cookies. Controls are easy to use and very precise, allowing for quick heating and easy moving to simmer. I absolutely recommend this oven.

Software controls need work

We were so excited about switching to induction cooking and to be honest we love the cooking part. However, the GE Profile software and controller panel need a lot of work. Occasionally, when items are cooking on top and in the oven, the control panel completely freezes and refuses to respond to any gestures. This can happen with the center panel as well as the individual burner panels. It's pretty scary when you can't get your burners to respond. We were told to flip the breaker in these circumstances. At least this got the attention of the machine, but the problems persisted. We continued to report the problems and the recommended solution was that the entire range was replaced. Now the new one suffers from the same problem. I'm concerned that we've spent a lot on a machine that will never actually work properly. This experience does not encourage me to consider GE appliances in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stove, great oven. Bad that it has to connect to the Internet all the time to make the UI work well. I don't want my appliances connecting to the Internet just so I can lock the controls.

Stovetop appears to have failed <3 years old

Stovetop functionality has stopped working after 2.5 years. The whole slide in range has worked great up til now -- Wi-Fi connectivity has been the only bothersome item.
