I spent a lot of time looking for a smaller dishwasher, so many had awful reviews so I finally settled on this one even though it was quite a bit more than I was hoping to pay. It was backordered for awhile which was a pain and when it arrived the plumber had a terrible time installing it but he finally got it working and not leaking.
For a smaller dishwasher it's working out well, there's lots of space for plates, bowls etc. on the lowest rack. The utensil caddy - two of the spots are deeper and I wish they were all that deep - I don't understand the design - I have to cram all the utensils in the two outside spots for them to fit down in there nicely. The top drawer I feel could've been a bit better designed for glasses. I think they try to get fancy with all these options (that aren't really clear what you are supposed to put there) when I just want a nice flat surface to put my glasses and mugs. The third rack I haven't used tons but it's definitely a nice option to put spatulas and knives etc.
It runs very quietly. I've just used the auto setting but there seems to be a lot of different options. I have it hooked up to my phone and get a notification when it's done which is kind of fun.
The one thing I do find is it's VERY wet in there when it's finished and I'm finding it gets smelly. I use it every 2-3 days and I don't think it dries in there properly. I haven't had it long enough for it to be food trapped or anything. I try to leave it propped open and let the air get in there as much as possible (which is difficult in a small kitchen) but I don't like how it's already smelling badly and I've had it for a month.
It's located in a spot where I do a lot of prep while standing in front of it and I hang a hand towel on the bar for when I wash/dry my hands and so far I'm really happy that the stainless steel doesn't seem to show every single mark like some do. I was worried about that.
If I can figure out/fix this smell issue I'll be happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
