Great cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is quiet and cleans great, my only minor gripe is that the racks aren't as well designed as the engineers think. The angled levels on the top rack are narrow and not much can be supported by them. The bottom rack's folding det of tines are way to narrowly spaced, and between those tines and the other is an open area in the middle that is completely useless by itself because there aren't enough wires to support anything. If you have stuff that fits on either side in the tines the middle is left empty. It seems a bit over-engineered in that sense, which is illustrated in the loading recommendations in the manual. Who has dirty dishes in such a tidy and predictable manner? Better to make the racks a bit more general so there's more flexibility in loading. Other than that, it's been great so far.

SERIES 300 DISHWASHER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is a very good product. It is very quiet and well made. The control buttons are very handy and easy to operate. And there are many options. It has excellent washing quality. The only thing that it does not do well is drying. Cups and bowls on the top shelf that have resest bottoms tend to hold water through the complete washing cycle and have to be hand dried.

Bosch dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine is very quiet and seems to do a good job. I don't like that I can't tell when the washing is done and drying begins as I prefer to catch the dishwasher at that point and open it up to facilitate drying without using extra energy.

An Excellent Choice!

We live in an older home with lots of "quirks", and we discovered we may have difficulty finding a replacement. On the advice of a repair technician, we visited a local kitchen supplier to look for a Bosch dishwasher. We are glad we did! Not only could we find the correct one for our home, but the quality is excellent . We couldn't be happier!

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for my mother who was looking for a white dishwasher with a third shelf. I purchased it sight unseen as I was unable to find a white Bosch dishwasher with a pocket handle and front controls and a third rack. I have a Bosch dishwasher with a third rack.
This dishwasher DOES NOT have a third rack as advertised. It has a little shelf attached to the lower rack that is supposed to be the "third rack". SO DISAPPOINTING! This dishwasher cost a lot of money for it not to have the third rack.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No place to put bowls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is great for the family that uses plates. It's not great for the family that uses bowls. I can easily load 30 plates in the bottom rack! But I can only load about 6 bowls, which I put on the top rack, and then they compete for space with glasses. I normally don't write reviews. I actually came to this page to look at images to see how Bosch recommends I load the dishwasher. Is there a trick that I am missing? Even the pics don't show bowls--or at least bowls that aren't tall and shallow like plates.
This dishwasher also allows me to delay cleaning. (I usually run my dishwasher in the middle of the night.) But once I set it up and press start, if someone opens the door to add a dish (which happens always), upon closing the door, you have to press the start button again or it doesn't run. Almost every morning, I wake up to a load of dirty dishes and a flashing timer because the start button wasn't pressed AGAIN. This is annoying. I hope they fix this issue.
We purchased this dishwasher because we have an older kitchen with a smaller, non-standard space, and this one fit. I feel this dishwasher does a good job washing my dishes. It takes 2h:25m to wash a normal load, which is fine if done overnight.
I would not recommend to others looking for a dishwasher for a family with kids due to the issues I state above.

Cleans well, racks inconvenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a Kenmore made by Whirlpool. It is supposed to be more reliable. We were able to pack the Kenmore with all sizes of pans and bowls, etc. This dishwasher can hold plates and shallow bowls more efficiently, but is less convenient for everything else and it seems that we run it more often because we can't fit as much in. I saved the silverware holder from our previous model and managed to install it and I've done some other modifications. Also it has no quick wash and the adjusting the settings is complex. We like the fact that it lets you know when the dishes will be done.

Not what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity is too small. There is no wash cycle less than 2 hours 10 minutes. The registration process is outdated and confusing compared to other electronic/appliance products. This was the only model in stock
