Handles breaking

We have used the 24 gallon action packer for years with our company. This past year the handles seem to break quite easily on at least a dozen of the 20 we bought.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken handle

Bad Product

Before 9/11 I used to use the 35 gal. storage containers to travel and these lasted forever. But when the size of checked luggage changed I had to purchase these 24 gal. storage boxes. I probably purchased 8 and all of them are useless the problem is the quality of the bottom side of it..it is simple not sturdy and poor quality plastic nothing like the 35 gal where the bottom side can stand to anything..it takes a slight bang and a once perfect bottom bents in . I wrote rubbermaid trying to get them to fix the problem several years ago and nothing happened I even suggested making a 24 gal version of their 35 gal storage container and again no answer..dont get me wrong their products are excellent but not this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing features

I'm a mechanical engineer who enjoys camping and off road driving. I bought three of the 8 gallon containers for storing equipment and tools. Here are the problems I found:
1) they don't stack and lock together at all. The hump in the lid is to high and there are no pockets or indentations for the feet to lock into.
2) The sides need to be vertical. The sloping and step in sides waste a lot of space.
3) there should be an 8 inch tall action packer with the same footprint as the 8 gallon action packer
4) Check out Swag Off Road to see the aluminum frame they came up with to make the Action Packer stackable

Need 12" high size again!

Like others, I bought the half height size years ago and want another one. Mine is still in good shape after 12-15 years but I Wondering why I couldn't find it he same size now. I read these reviews and looks like they don't make it anymore. I repeat the request to bring back the 12" high x 18" x 26"! That was just the right size. Please release it again!

Size & Shape problems

Not very useful: The sides are very tapered to allow stacking in shipping & on the store shelves. This makes the bottom of the container too small. The overall volume is not very big to begin with. There used to be a 10 Gal size, with a different lid (photo included). It was tapered too, but overall, it was a far more usable shape and size.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, but

I have owned lots of the action packers over the years and love them but there are three things to improve. You should be able to sit on them without damaging them, the should interlock on the lids AND please bring back the half height size, 26 x 18 x 11 or so. That was perfect!

Cheap Handles

I bought this product barely over a month ago. One of the handles broke when I was lifting it up.
