It's still early, I've only had it a day but the out of the box experience was fantastic. The setup was easy. I love the multiple form factors and how easy it is to switch from one to the other. Just a top-notch experience so far.

A Great Couple of Seconds

When I first got it, I was blown away. The dual screen setup was versatile, sleek, and perfect for multitasking (convo starter + compliments). As my first Asus device, I genuinely fell in love with it. The design, display quality, and performance especially for schoolwork and engineering software.
However, the excitement didn’t last long.
Despite being a high performance laptop with strong components, the battery life was extremely poor (like really, really poor). I was lucky to get an hour even with battery saver on, screen brightness low, and minimal apps running. It also ran hot, even when not plugged in despite being well ventilated and regularly cleaned. As a result, as a gimmicky cool machine, it was great. Honestly, even as a laptop, it was top tier. However, its real world daily use was limited and disappointing due to its terrible battery life right out of the box.
To make matters worse, the battery is soldered directly to the SSD board, meaning even diagnostics or battery replacements are costly and complicated. It feels like the design actively discourages repairability, which is especially frustrating given the premium price.
All in all, if you have cash to spare and don't mind the risk of it dying soon, this could be the perfect laptop for you. However, the hefty price tag doesn't equal long term reliability, so it might not be worth it for everyone.
