Seeds too expensive

I like the way aerogrow works— but the Harvest model is almost too small to be worth the wait. Okay for herbs, though. But the seed pods are just wayntoo expensive. You need to make them much more affordablr!

WASTE OF $$ Add food & water lights won't go off!

I just got a Harvest machine for Christmas and was so excited. Unfortunately this unit has left me VERY disappointed! I added the water, food and plants and plugged it in. But the add food and waters lights just will NOT turn off, no matter what! I've tried pushing them once, pushing and holding in - NOTHING. The unit has been set up for about 20 minutes and they are both still ON. I will be returning this unit immediately and not buying another one as this one was defective right out of the box!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a gift for someone

I never heard back. However, I've been getting nagging emails from Miracle Gro ever since. For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend buying from this company as their customer service is annoying and tone-deaf. I made a purchase. I didn't sign up for an email list--these guys didn't even register that the purchase I made wasnt even for myself. They just started spamming me on a regular basis. After seeing the product and realizing that I would be locked in to a set catalog of crops, generating permanent income to Miracle Gro, I decided against buying one for myself. If I do ever get a hydroponic system, I want to be able to grow whatever I choose to, not their standard varieties.

I have the red electronic harvest. After 4 months the electronics broke. Now I have to write down when to feed the plants and when to check the water level. I was very disappointed.

bounty 6 plant. Controls are very difficult to cycle through.to find the right one is almost impossible.

Needed This and Never Knew!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would make an incredible gift for someone that loves to cook, or garden, and fun to introduce horticulture to children! I never knew this existed and as soon as I received it, I knew it was something I needed and actually already want a second one! The pods are super easy, the unit is compact enough for the kitchen counter and pretty much ready to go right out of the box..3 easy steps, with easy to follow instructions. It conviently uses tap water.....I haven't had it long enough for anything to actually grow, but I don't know how I ever lived without this!!! Several friends saw it and we're jealous....they immediately had to google it to find one for themselves, so again, awesome gift idea! My gardening soul feels complete now!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun and easy thing to setup. The instructions were great and easy to follow. It tells you where to put the pods how much light, nutrients, water etc. It hasn't been long enough for me to see the sprouts yet but I can't wait! The seed kit has 6 basil, cilantro, mint, and parsley pods. Also plant food, greenhouse caps, a measuring cup, and instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!
