Love it -- but . . . light timer problem

My friends who gave this to me as a present told me that the light timer goes crazy and, sure enough, it worked fine for one week, 15 hours on, with auto turn-on at the specified time --- but . . . after the first week the light suddenly turned on in the middle of the "dark" time. I can reboot it, and live with it, but I think the various electronic features should be better tested. My friends also said that for "Add Food" and "Add Water" they had to mark reminders on their calendar because the indicators are unreliable. Same comment. But I will reboot and live with the problems, because, my herbs are growing ! And I love that. Nice "daylight" when it's on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sets up quick and starts up just as fast

I have had mine two weeks now. I set it up immediately and put 2 pods of Heirloom tomatoes in and it took about 4 days and the sprouted. They are now 2 weeks old and about 2 1/2 inches tall and beginning to spread out. I am following the instruction to the tee so we shall see howit goes from here but so far, I am very pleasantly surprised.

My salad greens were all up in 4 days took the caps off on day 8 its amazing you can almost see them growing. I can't reset the nutrient timer is the only hang up I have contacted customer services and they haven't got back with me yet. I have recommend to both family and friends.

5 month nightmare

I started trying to grow herbs and then tomatoes 5 and a half months ago..I fed the plants as directed, pruned them as per instructions, watered them and made sure the lights were on 15 hours a day as told to do. The herbs hardly grew at all. After 3 months they were tiny shriveled with little leaves and nothing to eat. One of the pods did have a very large bug which crawled out after a week leaving a hole and no plant. When I tried a few tomato plants they grew like crazy. IO had to keep pruning them because the plants grew into the light and burned..After months dozens of flowers appeared. I pollinated them as per instructions and following a video on u tube. The flowers all dried up and eventually fell off. Aft 5 mionths I have nothing to show for all my trouble except some greenery and an electric bill about 15 dollars higher than it otherwise would have been. An annoyance and a total waste of time money and effort. Better to buy crap in a grocery store with no taste than go through all this for nothing. DONT BUY ONE!!!!!

Having several models of AeroGardens, I opted to try growing rather large plants in my Harvest. While I don't recommend doing what I've done, the plants are producing wonderful flowers and vegetables despite being undersized for the plants I have in them. This unit is perfect for leafy greens and herbs, also a great choice for seed starting.

First off Aero Garden is a great thing to own. Did you ever go in to the store , and look at the price of Herbs ? Way too high right ? You never know where they came from or who touched them. Have you every tried to grow plants ? You tried in the past and they just die on you. This will not happen with the Areo Garden ! Just place your pods into it. Then add water then wait. You will have fresh food all the time. Give it a try and trust me. You will thank Areo Garden every time you eat from it. Great to teach kids in a class room also. Get yours today. Fun and it works

Works great. Received one for Christmas and then bought a second. Planted two tomato plants in first and just harvested first tomato yesterday. I counted over 50 cherry tomatoes on those two plants. My only issue is that at this stage the water capacity is only a few days, so I rigged a siphon to a cake pan to last twelve days.
