Funny Little Yellow Guy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Minions Duet Buddy for free through Mattel's Play, Rate, & Review program. When it arrived, my child initially wanted to save it for his grandmother, who is a huge Minions fan. About 20 minutes later, he could no longer resist the urge to rip into the box to try out the new toy, lol. The microphone is on trial mode in the box so you hear the music and the minion singing. Once it is set to play mode, the minion only sings when the microphone is placed to the minion's mouth. Your child can also sing into the microphone with the music, but it is not really amplified. Also, the only song on the microphone is Celebration. Overall, it is a cute toy that can catch a child's attention, but may not hold it for too long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this toy and have played with it everyday. I agree it’s cute and fun. Definitely a bonus to get a microphone! The only negative is there is not a volume switch! The minion songs loud and proud!

Hold the mic up to his mouth and he sings his part of the song Minion style. When you sing into the mic he will wait for you to do your part. He is a new favorite for our whole family. Very entertaining. I will recommend him to my family and friends.

Fun and Interactive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a surprisingly fun and interactive toy. My boys loved that the Minion would sing when you placed the microphone by its mouth but would only play music if moved away. The boys spent lots of time singing and playing with the toy. The only problem is that every once and a while the Minion would sing even when the microphone was moved away. This only happened a few times though. Overall, the boys are really enjoying playing with this toy. They also love that it is from the newest movie.
