This JBL FLIP 5 has great sound for its size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this speaker daily its tweeter/voice sound is so much more clear than its bigger brother Jbl Charge series it lacks the Bass but it’s right there keeping up with it. Good choice on upgrading on its usb-c charging port it’s charging is so much quicker and when the speaker dies of battery just plug it up and it instantly turns on and play to start the party over again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is wonderful. The bass response is undeniably better when compared to the competition as well as the battery life. The build quality seems decent so far, although I have only had it for a few months and I really love the color assortment (mine is blue). It comes in a nice foam case which is well made and will help to protect my flip 5 when I store it which was a nice addition to find. Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, the same I have found as with the JBL headphones. You can get a very cool silicone carrying case, so you easily hang it off your shoulder and take it anywhere. You can accidentally drop it in the pool and won’t hurt anything. I would be willing to buy another compatible speaker at a higher price, to connect them utilizing the Party boost feature since the older models are not compatible , providing it had more features such as speakerphone, use as a charger for my phone, auxiliary input or even an FM tuner or memory slot.

It was very easy to hook up with my iPad, and when used with YouTube and Netflix it adds a lot to watching anything on those. Also it fits in the water bottle holder on my bicycle perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

Big Sound from a portable device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a JBL GO (which I really liked as well), but I wanted something that could fill a room with sound but also be portable. I also have a JBL Charge 3 which is great, but is a little to big just to toss in my travel bag. The Flip 5 is the perfect size for travel, comes with a wrist strap and you can even use the styrofoam case it comes in for travel protection.
The sound on flip 5 is great, good bass, mids, and highs. It sounds very similar to the charge 3 I have and can easily fill a room with sound. I also used in our back yard and you can clearly hear it through out the yard. Friends even commented that they thought it sounded great for such a small speaker.
Pros:
Great Sound
Long battery life (listening at a lower volume setting I got 24 hours of charge)
Partyboost (connected quickly and easily to my JBL Pulse)
Portable
Nice looking Color
Made from recycled plastic
Charges quickly

Cons:
No auxiliary jack
The volume, play, and partyboost buttons are sorta on the backside of the flip making it hard to see/use them.

The flip 5 is great if you want a good portable speaker that sounds good. I liked it so much I gave away my JBL GO because the flip 5 sounds way better and is still just as portable. The Flip 5 is perfect for travel, using at the beach, or even taking in the shower due to it being waterproof!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved the waterproof feature. It has become my everyday shower speaker, performs extremly well in all environment and the sound quality is just amazing. Blue color is beautifully created and the ports are well organized for charging. It has an easy app control for group play. Comes in a very cool styrofoam case which is protective. It is not too heavy, can be easily carried for camping trips and goes for more than 10 hours in one charge. I would love to have a carrying case with it. but I do not have any complaints from this product. Absolutely amazing speaker.
