Why Party Boost

If you already made customers buy into the connect plus why make the party boost, it already connects to multiple so why make party boost, you guys are loosing people with your decisions..I was looking into the flip 5 and you took away connect plus with a money scheme which is ....party boost, no aux, mono speaker,4.2 Bluetooth while phones have 5.0 like my S10+.. Don't make your old models look like a better version even with your latest release.. Please DO NOT DO THIS TO THE XTREME 3 PLEASE KEEP STEREO NO PARTY BOOST...or release a update to pair with plus and keep the AUX
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your review, the Party Boost is an improved verison of the JBL Connect+, which improves the Bluetooth reliability of interspeaker connections. It's not backwards compatible with the JBL Connect or Connect+. We understand that the product did not meet your expectations. Much better base sound than the JBL Flip 4!

Bought the JBL Flip 5 once it first became available from JBL. I like that it is totally waterproof in the since that you don’t have to worry if the cover is tight for the charging components, because there aren’t any! The base sound is very much improved, yet the high and mid-tones are clear. It fits all cases for protection, even though it is slightly larger. Rock’n on the Patio!

This product has great loud sound, but lacks a little bit on the bass portion. Good battery life and quality product

Hoping it had better battery life than Flip 4 yet only played 4.5 hours at 50% volume. Returned it.

Great sound

I understand it’s single speaker- don’t have Flip 4 to compare, but I’m really enjoying the full bass and midrange of Flip 5. For close quiet listening could make a difference, but at room loudness I think Flip 5 would win. Good product

More bass and louder than flip 4! Also love the grey color which is darker than my grey flip 4. Worth the money compared to similar speakers in this price point! Don’t hesitate to buy, if you have a flip 4 sell it or just upgrade to flip 5.
