Nothing good

I replaced my Fip4, which stopped taking a charge, even though it was only about 1 1/2
years old and out of warranty . The new Flip5 which I paid for and received is terrible.
The sound is like a small explosion. I contacted customer service and they agreed that it was defective and should be replaced. I am waiting and waiting for your process for that.

Amazing sound

I bought this a few weeks ago and the sound is crystal clear and amazing... Very upset I only had my Flip 4 for a year and it doesn’t hold a charge like it used to but very impressed with this Flip 5
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for myself for the holidays; I've been wanting a bluetooth speaker to take with me when I travel. I read many other comparison reviews about the superior audio quality and battery life of the Flip 5 and made the decision to purchase (and customize!) the speaker. I love it! It sounds great, it looks great, and it's compact enough to carry with me when I travel (I listen to it at the beach, by the pool, and in my hotel room).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm very disappointed with these speakers. The instructions that were provided were not adequate, the App is also not very helpful. I don't know how to adjust the volume when they're paired, so that the volume is the same for both speakers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why doesn't it connect to my charge 4?

I am confused why jbl speakers have different communication formates. I bought a charge 4 speaker and now a flip 5 in the hopes that I will be able to play them simaltaneously and when I tried I found out they do not work together!! Why would a company do that?
