Best for a younger kiddo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children enjoyed putting the set together and they enjoyed the concept of these Legos. This seems like a great birthday gift for a six or seven year old. The game does seem to be improving with updates. The interest of the kids then does also. My seven year old finds playing quite funny. My eleven year old would like to be able to search songs when creating video content. Both children would love to design their own Lego character and have that scanned into the videos as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cool interactive gadget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his lego sets, and after the hit we had with the mario stuff this past Christmas I knew anything that came next would have a hard act to follow. This cool set does not disappoint! The design is nice and it's easy enough to build he was able to do it on his own. It also offers interactive play which he's gotten a lot of play time out of. Out toddler has even been able to jump into the fun a bit with his big brother's help. If you have kids that love lego, this is a great set and it's priced right too. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for lots of play time at a really affordable price.

Vidiyo - Alien DJ Beatbox

The LEGO Vidiyo Series is as amazing as people have been given so much hype to it. I haven't dabbled in the application yet. I have the Llama, the Alien DJ Beatbox, and five bandmates. I Would tell everyone that they need acquire a few of these amazing Minifigures to add so much pizzazz and epicness to anyone's nightclub, concert, party scene.

I can't get the Vidiyo app to work

The Alien DJ is really cute, The app is pretty clunky. It's very slow and it's taking longer to get it up and running to make a "music video" than it did to build the set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for my son's birthday. He is really into DJs and mixing music, so this looked like a dream toy. Unfortunately, I immediate discovered that our phones are not compatible with the app. This is completely baffling, since we're both using Samsung Galaxy S10 series phones, which are from late 2019, and are running Android 11. The description on the product says it's compatible with Android 9 or above, so nothing would've lead me to believe our relatively new phones would not support this app. Without the app, this toy is useless. Too bad, because it's adorable and looks like it would be a blast. For the first time in history, I am VERY disappointed in a LEGO purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun but app needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old son really enjoyed building this lego set. It was fairly simple to build himself. Once you download the app and figure out how to use it you can make your own music. I think he really enjoyed how different and unique this product was from other LEGO’s he’s has.

So much fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a awesome idea for kids. It got my girl off the tv and tablet and actually playing with a toy doing something she is interested in. You have to download the app and once you do follow the directions. It’s easy to use and my girl loves to dance and create and recreate “mash ups”. I love watching her!!

App doesn't work very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid had more fun building this then actually playing with it.. the app is really hit or miss and was constantly crashing on his tab 8. when we finally got it working my 7 year old looked at me confused and said...is that it? Then went back to playing xbox
