Love at first touch

There are more than a few reasons I love this new 16 inch LG gram. First of all, the display is absolutely gorgeous. The 2560x1600 resolution results in a color filled breathtaking screen. Be aware, the 2021 14 inch version of the LG gram is 1900x1200. Although I'm sure with the smaller footprint, the display is plenty pixel-filled enough to provide a great look but I was after the best possible resolution. Both the 16 and 17 inch have the higher resolution. I chose the 16 inch since it also, for now, has the 256GB storage option, which is really all I need on a laptop since I don't store a lot of photos or videos. Now, on to the keyboard. WOW. This is the best feeling keyboard I've ever used on a laptop. LG has made the keys a bit bigger and the "bounce" and travel feels perfect. I love it. The weight is a no brainer. It's 2.6 pounds is lighter than a lot of 13 inch laptops. You would think the case is plastic, it's so light, but it's a magnesium alloy metal and you can feel it's cool surface when in lower temperature surroundings. It's unbelievably lightweight and so easy to put in a sleeve and pack along anywhere. The specs of the 16 are the 11th gen. Intel i7 processor, which I find is extremely snappy and I got the 16GB RAM option. I love this laptop. One more thing, the speakers, which in previous years have been panned for their less than stellar sound, seem to have been pumped up a bit with resulting audio not too bad, although top mounted would have been better, there is probably a reason they still remain on the bottom of the machine. All in all, LG has really flexed its muscles and come up with an even BETTER gram for 2021. Finally, the new 16:10 display is perfect. I LOVE the dimensions. The resultant screen space is excellent. I look forward to using this new gem of a laptop for years to come. GREAT JOB, LG. Life IS good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light, love the color and the screen. Colors jump and are very vibrant. Despite the low weight, it's fairly durable. Do wish it had more RAM but it does not hinder the performance as is. Battery life is outstanding.

Because it is equipped with Intel's latest mobile processor, booting is fast and very light.
Also, the battery life seems to be long. Even after a lot of work for over 3 hours, there is no shortage. Maybe even 4-5 hours.

It's great that the power button includes a fingerprint reader. Boot up quickly and accurately without having to use a keyboard to log into Windows 10.
In addition, it has a larger screen than I expected, so it was convenient to divide and view multiple documents on one screen when working with documents.
Anyway, with the LG Gram 16 I bought this time, I think it will be easy to work with the Internet, various documents, and simulations. I think I'll be using it for about 3 years without any problems.

Bought it for work and the first thing you notice is the amazing battery life. I get close to 11hrs on a single charge. Your usage may vary. The 2 in 1 is convenient and works well. A stylus pen is included. The laptop is lightning fast for my need and the 16" screen is ideal for me. 17" is too big. The only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is the screen reflection. You can see yourself in the screen. Using it outdoor is even worst. I can clearly see everything behind me as if it is a mirror. However. the goods outweighs the bad and this one is a keeper.

I was concerned that I should have purchased the 17" but I am happy with the 16". The screen is edge to edge so that really helps. The only negative I have is the number keypad is a little smaller than the one I am used to on my old 17.3" laptop. I do accounting work so have to be more careful with my number entry. I'm sure I will get used to it.

The things I love are the speed of logging on, the overall speed of searching the internet, the colors and brightness of the screen and the keyboard and number pad are perfect. I am not happy that it doesn't have a touch screen, when I bought it I was in the understanding that it did have one. I also would of liked to have the disk player and the normal size card reader. I tried using the mini card reader and it didn't work at all.
